Country Head and Regional Sales & Marketing Manager – Indonesia

Summary: -

Reporting to the Head of Hotel Operations, who is based at RPHL’s corporate headquarters in Indonesia, the successful candidate shall be Country Head and Regional Sales & Marketing Manager – Indonesia, responsible for supervising all aspects of the Operation, to include but not limited to: Hotel Operations, Hotel Openings, Revenue Management, Sales, Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Guest Service, Ensuring Budgets are met, Safeguarding RPHL’s assets in the Indonesia.

RPHL has four Hotels underdevelopment in the Indonesia, RPHL is planning a further three assets.

The successful candidate will be asked to actively participate in RPHL’s expansion strategy in the Indonesia.

The successful candidate will actively manage RPHL’s Indonesia asset (Jakarta, Sumatra, java and Sulawes), whilst overseeing the opening and operation of RPHL’s assets in Indonesia .The successful candidate will continue the supervision and management of all RPHL’s Indonesia assets.

Qualifications: -

Degree in Hospitality Management, Certificate in Hospitality, or similar field is required.
At least 15 years experience within the Hotel Management industry and Hotel sales Management.
Strong leadership and organization skills
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Skill in developing customer relationship
Skillful in project planning / tasks and able to prioritize projects
Excellent time management skills
Self Starter
Strong computer skills
Detail oriented
Decisive, educated facilitator experienced in resolving conflicts

Job Description: -

Country Head Role

Responsible for successful leadership and management of hotel operations departments
Direct and monitor hotel operations through meetings, audits and operational reviews
Ensure the efficient management of all departments for all hotels in Indonesia territory
Establish and monitor measurable goals for company growth and profitability
Monitor daily cost controls systems for profit maximization
Carry out monthly performance reviews, coach and direct activities to achieve desired performance
Implement annual budget and profit projections
Develop and implement strategies to achieve high service levels and ensure the standards of service of the hotel are maintained
Develop operation manuals for each department
Responsible P & L analysis and action plans
Set hotel rates and benchmark within the industry
Allocate budgets for each department
Ensure clients’ complaints or problems are auctioned without delay and effective follow-up action takes place to avoid a recurrence
Aware of current trends in the industry and make suggestions how those could be implemented for the benefit of the company
Liaise ad work closely with Hotel Manager to ensure that realistic, achievable proposals are submitted
Creates and implements special programs to achieve greater profitability
Provide training and support to all properties
Supervise all staffs, motivate them to do the best job possible and provide great service to the guests
Make decisions about beginning or ending employment
Maintain contacts with public authorities
Oversee and implement emergency policies, systems, and procedures, including relationships with community support services, etc.

Regional Sales & Marketing Manager role

Manage the Sales effort
Maximize the occupancy and average daily rate of the hotel
Analyze statistics thereby identifying key sales areas, problems and success rate
Develop and execute Sales & Marketing Strategy
Achieve budgeted sales target
Service new and existing accounts
Increase Corporate Client base
Update and evaluate advertising channels
Identify prospective clients’ exact needs, by questioning, observation and the completion of a full
sales survey
Monitor and be aware of competitor activity
Aware of new business opportunities and take action
Follow up leads by visiting prospective clients
Travel to and work within the countries designated
