PT. CATUR INSAN PERTIWI provides mechanical and electrical construction services in Indonesia. The company involves in the installation of steam power plants, geothermal power plants, gas power plants, diesel power plants, electrical systems, mechanical systems, piping systems, steel tanks, boilers, and factory machinery, as well as in the fabrication of steel tanks and structures, piping, and ducting. Its services also include maintenance works, generator installation, water treatment, and dismantling. The company was founded in 1984 and is based in Jakarta Selatan, Indonesia. As of November 18, 2008, PT. CATUR INSAN PERTIWI operates as a subsidiary of Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk.
In anticipation to the operation of power plants of 10,000 MW program of either owned or Generator Private PLN (IPPs), as well as investment growth in the industrial, oil & gas and mining so WIKA Insan Pertiwi which is quite actively implement the labor supply for the needs of Industrial Maintenance, also is developing its business towards Operation and Maintenance effort (Operation & Maintenance) and industrial plants.
Procurement and marketing synergies and additional experience managing large and complex projects of the Company, will be able to more quickly grow WIKA Insan Pertiwi achieve its mission to pioneer the development and construction services enginiring mechanical & electrical, as well as operation and maintenance services of the leading and reliable competitive, safe , quality, timely and environmentally sound.
WIKA Insan Pertiwi besides doing a project on the environment WIKA also working on projects outside of WIKA, from old customers and new customers are constantly being developed. Projects undertaken in 2009 WIKA Insan Pertiwi include Batakan diesel, diesel Bontang, Chipper mill and diesel Medco Merauke, KCM Conveyor, Conveyor Indominco, and Conveyor acids, Grinding Mill Indocement, Mechanical Installation Expansion SPV 4 (South Pacific Viscouse ) one of the largest rayon factory in Indonesia. As for the year 2010 WIKA Insan Pertiwi targeting to work on some coal and biomass power plant, diesel, tank farms, oil palm processing mill, Pipeline and gas, aviation fuel supply piping system and electrical mechanical mining industry project.
