Our client, an International group of companies in oil and gas which provides comprehensive range of services for oil and gas drilling and exploration Our client obtained a long project of gas drilling and exploration in Papua New Gini from a global energy corporation, therefore they are in high need to recruit a number of technical skilled professional to fill out opening positions, among others :
WELDERS
(Oil & Gas Company)
Under the general supervision, the incummbents perform welding applications within one or more work teams. They carry out the visual and in-process inspections in accordance with regional and ISO quality specifications as well as facilitate the team in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and solving welding problems that enhance the through put within the work team. They will handle special projects as assigned.
The incumbents are to carry-out day Inspection on BHA drilling tools, parts, assemblies and sub-assemblies of various specialized BHA tools both Non-Magnetic and Alloy steel tools.
REQUIREMENTS:
Having experienced with repair and redress of downhole tools including stabilizer and mill redress
Having general knowledge of welding processes and familiar of ISO standard
Must be able to read blue prints.
Having requirement to pass (1) welding test and qualifications in compliance with qualification procedures
Minimum having fair English communication
Willing to be located in the site on roster program
This is a permanent job with highly attractive remuneration package. Prior to the job placement in PNG, the incumbent will have technical training in Dubai.
